The Speaker receives Saudi media delegation in Baghdad

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri received on Friday a Saudi media delegation, which included a group of chief editors and representatives of Saudi media, in the presence of the ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Iraq Mr. Abdul Aziz al-Shemmari and the head of Iraqi and Arab journalists Syndicate Mr. Mu’yyad al-Lami.
The meeting reviewed the situation and challenges in the region and the importance of enhancing cooperation between Iraq and the Arab region in order to achieve stability and boost economic development and open new horizons of relations between Iraq and the Kingdom to strengthen the cultural ties between the two brotherly peoples.
The speaker stressed that Iraq is need for the support of the Arab countries especially Saudi Arabia to rehabilitate public infrastructure.
For their part, the delegation members expressed their happiness to visit Iraq and meet with the Speaker, hoping that bilateral meetings and dialogues would continue in various fields to enhance the bilateral relations between the two brotherly peoples.
