Iraqi parliament’s delegation, headed by Sheikh Mohammed, is to participate in the 94th session of the Assembly of NATO countries currently held in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Iraqi parliament’s delegation, headed by Aram Sheikh Mohammed, is to participate today in the 94th session of the Assembly of NATO countries and the Mediterranean and Middle East Special Group and the Western Balkans, which started this morning in Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and continues for three consecutive days under the auspices of the Swiss Government and assistance of the Bosnian Herzegovina parliamentary group.
Conference participants are discussing ways to expand the NATO alliance in the Western Balkans, the crisis of immigration and refugees, the fight against terrorism and reform in the security and defense sector, and a number of other issues.
At the conference, the Iraqi delegation will participate actively and will discuss the situation of the displaced and Iraqi refugees in the world with representatives of the international countries with the call for relief and assistance.
Iraqi parliamentary delegation headed by Sheikh Mohammed and the membership of deputies Iskandar Watut and Hamed al-Mutlaq of the Security and Defense Committee, will discuss several issues related to the security and humanitarian aspect of Iraq and the return of displaced people to their liberated areas and reconstruction of those areas. In addition, it will request the international community for more support efforts to end the suffering of the Iraqi people and to rid the country from terrorism.
